Tunnel Dump Exhaust and axel bearings.

Just seeing if anyone has had any trouble with the axel bearings due to running a tunnel dump exhaust. My bearings just became a small pile of dust, and I wondered if the exhaust heat had anything to do with that. The sled has 2500 miles on it. My other M8 with stock exhaust has over 6k and no problem. Wanted some input from others on their experiance with the exhaust.

Running tunnel dump for over 3500 miles and bearings were ok. I have changed a few bearings out for other guys and noticed most were due to someone changing out a track and not putting back the small piece of metal that acts as a guard for the inner bearing seal on the back.

The little metal protector was there, with a little imagination. The spacers survived the carnage. The bearings were just dusted, hoped it wasn't from the exhaust heat. Got some new bearings ordered, and a new protector, so I will throw them in and head out and not look back,
