Tunnel bag preference

Currently have a skinz nxt on my yeti 120” and it’s a little too small. Is pelican the next best option or should I consider the TS elite with shovel holder? Pros and cons??

Thanks!

I use the Giant Loop Revelstoke bag, but if that skinz one is too small, it's probably too small for you too. Not a fan of anything that puts my shovel on the bike, I want to keep it on my body so I always have it when I need it.

Two shovels bro. It is nice to have a bigger shovel on the bike then one that can fit in the pack. Also nice not to have to takeoff your avalanche airbag and get your shovel out if you are stuck or helping a buddy who is stuck in avalanche train.

For all the guys we ride with we all have the Pelican case. You always get alot of snow back there and they are water proof. This was last weekend.

Just something to be aware of based off personal experience. On a stock 2019 450 XC-F, but I'm sure could be common across many, there can be an issue with icing up of zippers and such if your bag is in the path of the exhaust outlet. Many ways to mitigate this or just deal with it for example I just always made sure to have the zippers meet closed on the opposite side of the exhaust. Still iced up but at least I could eventually work it open. Just gonna put a shell over the bag this season, should help.
