Tuning front shock

I am running 09 WE new style piston and spring rate champers .What would I notice by changing to a fox or exit or any of the other top end shocks.I have never had a chance to try anything else.
I would also like to hear how you are setting up your shocks soft, med or hard and what type of riding?
What function does the front track shock perform other than ski pressure?

No benefit to changing shocks.I hear alot of bashing W/E shocks so what do they do you do not like?What makes the fox floats so much better?

I personally like the fox float's because they are light, strong, easily changed (stiffness) as riding conditions change, and look cool as hell.
