Tuning 01' Mountain Max 700

I have a good mechanical background but i've never messed much with carburetors or 2 strokes for that matter. I figured it would be a good idea to rejet my sled for my riding. The jets that were in it were tiny so luckily i'm upgrading. Anyways i got my 137.5's in and now i need to make my screw adjustments but none of the terms from the service manual are lining up with the terms on SLP's tuing page.

It says i need to readjust my fuel screw and air jet. Where do i find these screws on my carbs?

Also i cant figure out how to adjust the needle clip without tearing down most of the carburetor assembly. Any thoughts? I would like to figure out what clip position its on and adjust it accordingly

As for the air/fuel screw it is on the bottom of the carbs---- 2 turns out
For theneedle clip its under the black top plate withe 2 screws in it,then take out the screw that holds the slide assembly to the shaft ,then there is 2 allen headed screws that holds the linkage to the top of the slide remove them then you can rotate the linkage out of the way. But be careful not to lose the white fiber washers one likes to stick to the bottom of the slide linkage, then your to the needle ,one white fiber washer under the c-clip and needle on top of the black slide.
2nd or 3rd ( middle ) position
I believe the allen screws are 2.5 mm best to use a ball allen to remove them.

for the first time you do this you might want to take the carb rack off..pretty easy to lose a clip or allen screw...once you've done it a few times piece of cake in the field.......02

alright i have my fuel screw set, but what about my 'Air Jet' screw. Where abouts might i find this. Also is there any good tips for on the trail tuning other than pulling the plugs constantly?
