Tumbler Ridge 12/13 info and pics

F@#K YEAH!

Can't wait, gonna get my wrap, airframes etc. done, them I'm looking at least a road ride!

When are we going riding? Chetwynd is supposed to be getting snow or mixed precipitation everyday except for 2 days until the 8th. That'll mean lots of fresh up high. Don't know about Tumbler? I usually ride Tumbler once a year... for my first ride. They seem to get it first.

Have we ridden together before? Just putting some finishing touches on the turbo. It's gonna be a good year.

This summer I went to check out the core lodge and you could not get to it because of mining.

So what is the status of Core Lodge in regards to access. I have heard mixed reports that its going to be shut down to sledding due to mining activities and other reports that there are no changes? No guesses please just accurate reports.

Rode core lodge 3 weekends ago. There has been mining activity using the trail in but it was open. It was clear that it had been closed at times for blasting operations.

Still lacking snow in some areas but not bad in the back meadows area. Not much snowpack so lots of stucks!

Me an my friend went this today and it was very windblown, you had to ride in a bit and just stick too the trees too find the snow, still dissapointed since everyone said it was crazy deep. I wonder how closer to tumbler is.

Rode Reddeer falls on sunday snow is ok in trees or meadows where the wind hasnt hit it. Snow going to first saddle was very low lots of big rocks still there.

Anyone going sledding this weekend? may be going to core lodge but i need people to ride with.
