TSS-98 to TSS-04 Changeover

Has anyone changed over the 98 to an 04? This is on an 06 with a stock TSS-98. The 98 is wasted and is now replaced with the TSS-04

My question is do they use a different aluminum spacer on the secondary bolt? For some reason, it seems to me that the overall height of the TSS-98 might be a little taller (if you were to lay them on a bench) than the TSS-04?? I'm very vague on this and will be stuck in the mountains with a new secondary which is where the sled is at.

It seems to me that the 07 and up that use the 04's use a shorter aluminum spacer on the secondary bolt that goes between the bolt and the jackshaft.

Anyone know?

I switched from a TSS-98 to a TSS-04 on my old 2002 EDGE-X 800.

had to add washers/spacer and a longer bolt on the secondary if I remember correctly

When using the offset tool, look for a .100" air gap (INSTEAD OF LIGHTLY TOUCHING) as the TSS-04 Is NARROWER than the TSS-98 it replaces
