TSS-04 Secondary Clutch possible damage

I've been trying to align my clutches and noticed a rattle coming from the driven clutch while it was off the machine. after inspecting, i found the washer and E-clip off one of the rollers loose in the housing.

there's some small markings from the roller on the housing and some more significant marring on the helix. the opposite roller has started to seat itself into the helix.

so, what's the damage? am i fine with some emery cloth and a new E-clip or do i need a little more work?

any thoughts? would you put it back together as is and run it or do the rollers and helix need attention?

From what I can see, I would just smooth out the helix with some emery cloth....doesn't have to be perfect, just take off the high spots....and to be safe put new rollers in.

I would definitely take that thing apart and check the bushing in the sliding sheave and replace the spring. I am finding these TSS-04's wearing out that bushing and sometimes the helix bushing very prematurely. These TSS-04's all had between 500-1,000 miles on them. A few of these secondaries of these secondaries including my own (500 miles) were having belt issues. The others were found during normal maintenance. The helix bushing is non-serviceable from Team btw but the sliding sheave bushing is available. I talked to Team about this last week as. I've worked on 6 of these this winter and all had extremely worn out bushing. The guy at Team felt they should be lasting longer but I think they have moved on to the Tied clutch.

So if a guy was looking at replacing a team clutch you should go with the tied as opposed to an 04? Is the tied really better?
