trying to identify can

The number stamped on my can/silencer is 275-0410. Does anyone know the brand by this number? Thanks.

It looks like a SLP can that is on the website which is why I am worried. I have about 1800 miles on it and there aren't any cracks on it but I know they don't have a good reputation for lasting very long.

If it looks like that and it has a little plate welded to it with the numbers stamped on it, it is probably an SLP. Mine has some number stamped on it that do not coincide to the part number on the website. Might be some kind of code about when it was made. Check the top for cracks after every ride and don't worry about it. There are plenty of guys running them without problems. I'm not one of them but they are out there...:face-icon-small-ton

does the pipe on the bottom go out at an angle like that or straight down? That is the 06 can in the photo. It's the only one they sell now.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's an SLP. It was put on by the dealer when it was bought new by previous owner. I think they own stock in SLP because that's about all they push for cans. A friend that bought an Assault there had the can crack on it and it was SLP. Went to MPRP and hasn't had a problem since. A little louder but only when the nose is out of the snow. I've been keeping an eye on it since I bought it because I knew they had some problems with the cans.

If dealer put it on it is SLP, if it lasted 1800 miles without a problem you probably won't have any problems. Mine all broke within 200 miles.
