TRYING TO GET STRAIGHT UP

I'm not the best at it but if you are really wanting to, without a turbo the longer track sleds come up easier in optimum circumstance like coming over a cornice, off a steep climb, or anytime the terrain changes drastically. Whenever your rolling over the drastic terrain change, i.e. cornice, steep climb or over a peak, push your feet down and pull your handlebars back and give a decent amount of throttle but watch your balance. Practice to figure out your balance and go a bit further each time.
 
yup, use the terrain around you... even a small hump can get you that extra kick you need to get her to stand up. With your limiter straps out, pin it right as your skis hit the hump, small hill, creek bank, whatever it is and pull back on the bars hard... it's really fun, just make sure to let off eventually... dont want to hurt the rear bumper or anything.....:eek: haha

why do you want to do this anyways?? Just for fun ?? I have a 05 900 121 and mine really doesnt stand up on flatland all that well. I like to try to keep the skiis down for cornering and such anyways

That is flatlander vs Mountain riders. You all like going 120mph and flying thru corners, us mountain guys are average less than 50mph hugging trees, flying up the sides of waterfalls, dropping cornices, and well... getting airborne!:scared:
 
ya i guess, but i dont want to go 120 either....we just dont have the same type of riding area here...

my 121 wont stand up not sure why....maybe its the stock gearing setup..might be something i play with next year....rather have torque then top speed

My 144 does it with ease on hardpack! Try adjusting the scissor stops to get more weight transfer to the rear! Then u just need enough traction! Its a lot of fun when u get a sled standing straight up and very impressive!
 
The front scissor stop should have the largest part of the block back and the rear scissor stop should have the smallest part forward. If u really want transfer... take the scissor stops out and soften the suspension a little bit! But be careful not to flip it over!:face-icon-small-hap

Not all of us with a short track, want to just go fast, there is no need for a long track here. i love hitting drifts and climbing hills. with a little hill i can stand mi9ne straight up, even on flat ground with good snow, not so much this year since we only got about a foot. i almost wore my snow flap right off lol from doing it so much!!
