Trustworthy boat mechanic near SLC?

The bellows is torn on my outdrive and I need to have a few other things done to my boat before winter hits. I haven't had great experiences with the couple of mechanics I've used so far and I was wondering if anyone else has any suggestions?

All the reviews that come up on google for boat mechanics around here make it seem like they are all pretty shady.

The closer to Sandy the better but I'd be willing to travel a little bit for someone I knew could be trusted.

Top of my list of trust is Fred's Marine. They are in Layton.
You could try Petersen Marine though, they have an SLC location and have known one of their mechanics and purchased things through them. I think they would be able to take care of you.

My Uncle is a skilled, trustworthy and dependable boat mechanic.
Doug's Auto and Marine in Orem. Don't have his number handy, but he's in the book.
I have used him for all my stern drive needs in the past.
Haven't neded him on the 'Bu.
But he def deserves as a try.
