Truck that books west trips?

Years ago I remember there was a guy that would haul sleds out west, and book the trips. I cannot remember who that was. Anyone know the name, or if still in business?

It was/is Moms Motorsports. I seen them in Dubois a couple years ago but I'm not sure if they are still in business or not. I could not find the website with a quick search.

Its definitely moms motorsports. They are based out of Michigan. I went out with them a couple years ago. It was a pretty cool trip. Sit back and drink beer while they drive. Meet some new people.

Prices were really good considering everything you got. Transportation, accommodation, meals etc.

Looks like their website is gone though. Replaced with something else. Not sure what is going on there. I still have him on Facebook and one of his posts earlier this summer was that they had gotten a new truck so I assume he is still in the business.

Where abouts are you from?

Jacob, the guy who ran it, his email address was: momsmotorsports@hotmail.com

Mom's is still in business. He gave an update on Dootalk that they had there domain name expire and someone else took it. They have a new website and are going to release trip schedule around haydays.

To the guys who have been on a trip with Moms, what does the price for a trip all include? Just curious, sounds like a sweet deal.

Price wise its pretty hard to beat.

When I went the truck left from just outside of Chicago, however some trips leave from Michigan and do pickups along the way.

You are responsible for your food on the way out and on the way back.

Once you get to wherever you are going it includes your breakfast and dinner, and accommodations. We just packed a lunch each day from the lodge and would head out.

Works out to 5 days of riding. (arrive on your first day, leave on the last).

Its a cool trip. You meet some new people, get to ride with new people.

The only negative thing I can say about when I went out was I damaged my sled on the 3rd day. I couldn't get into town to get new parts, and the lodge didn't have any cat parts. So I ended up just renting for the next two days.

I think Jacob (owner) has a pretty sweet winter gig with all the riding he gets to do.
