truck battery warranty question..

i have a 2004 duramx. has 2 batteries.. last week i left the radio on to listen to it while having a few beers with buds, probably 30 minutes.. wouldnt start after that.. today, i accidentaly left the key in the on position. no radio for probably an hour.. no start! battery says 78 month replacement on it.. whats that mean? they gonna pro rate it or???

take it back to where you got it,they will more than likely load test it for you,and if it doesnt pass the load test you get a replacement battery

As long as it is a replacement warranty they should replace it. Most battery warranties replace in the first 12 months and then pro-rated for the balance of the batterie's warranty.

If they are the original batteries, warranty was out at 36 months.

my battery was 3 year replacement (i think) then pro rated after that

The orginal batteries had silver and black stickers on the top. If it does not have the orginal batteries you can warranty it from the date code in black letters next to the bar code on the sticker.
