Was up last Saturday for first ride. Right around 5ft at the berry fields and snowed 6 inches at Atkisson by the time we got back. No grooming yet. Looks like we will have a very good base this year.

Thats awesome to hear. Im anxious to get out and do some riding. Just moved to Trout Lake not too long ago. Away for the holidays right now but I'll be back after the first week of jan. Lookin for some people to get out and ride with. If you're interested in showin an out-of-towner some of the local spots let me know.

Where is the "Berry Fields" area I keep hearing about?

I take it that it's in the Mt Adams/St Helens area?

We ride Orr Creek all the time and are looking to expand our horizons a bit due to the excellent snow pack were supposed to be receiving this year.

Thanks!

Went up to Flattop snopark yesterday. Only three trucks in the parking lot. No grooming on the trails yet. Road up to steamboat. Still need about 3 more feet to cover up all of the rocks, but enough powder to have a good time. Does anyone know when the grooming is going to start? Trails are going to be terrible after a couple more days.

I dont know who, or what "Northwest Snow Grooming" is.

I say this because they were listed last year as the groomer for the whole area, same as they are listed again this year.

They never provided one single update to the grooming report last season, nor did they ever even have it groomed up there any of the times we went!

We were extremely frustrated by their lack of any maintenance last year...sure hope it looks better this year.

Maybe it was because of the low snowpack last year?

There certainly wont be any reason not to maintain the web site and trails this season with the heavy snowpack were getting!!

This year I have a website to provide feedback regarding both positive and negative feedback on groomers and I intend to use it either way...hopefully for the positive. :face-icon-small-dis

the road was mosly powder, good snow stacking up ....

Here is the one I always reference...it seems all other groomers but "Northwest Snow Grooming" update their applicable areas.

Once again, these guys dont even have a projected schedule posted yet...everyone else has either been grooming or set up and/or posted a schedule.

Can you tell Im a bit frustrated with these guys? :face-icon-small-sad
