trouble with track!!

I put a 07 summit 800r 144 16x2.25 on an 02 summit 800 and it is jumping when climbing in deep snow. What should i do to fix this problem. Im thinking about dropping and rolling the chaincase? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

yeah, what do you mean by jumping, if it is then just tighten it up some. or something else, if you dont have enough clearance it would rub the track and it couldnt really ratched(no room to) adding a d&r would do nothing to help.

The '07 has anti ratchet (Extrovert) drivers.
The '02 doesn't.
You'll have to tighten the track up much farther on the 02 with that track.

so should i just tighten it up or put anti extrovert drivers on possibly one less tooth? Which would be better?

If you've got an inch and a half clearance I'd try to close it up to about a half inch, Are you sure you've got the right pitch? It sounds like you've got it tight enough.

i dont know if the pitch of the wheels and the track are the same. Does anyone know what the pitch of both the 02 summit 800 and 07 stock summit 2.25x144 are?
