Triton trailer owners check your trailer for cracked welds!

I have a 20 foot enclosed triton trailer and love it. However when looking under the trailer I noticed several of the cross members that were cracked at the welds. These were primarily on the members that were close to the axle's. My neighbor has the identical trailer and noticed his was doing the same thing. I took mine to a weld shop and had the repairs made and some reinforcement plates welded on what appeared to be the worst areas. This obviously is the down side to an aluminum trailer, since aluminum does not flex like steel does.

keep your eye on it now! In my experience it's nearly impossible to keep it from continuing to crack once it starts.
