Triton trailer decking

Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade my 1/2" deck on my XT10 and go to 5/8"?

It appears the plywood slides into channels on the sides and I'm not sure if the channels will handle 5/8, though I suspect they will because Triton offers 5/8 on some models and probably uses the same channel/aluminum for both.

different side channels. I changed out my 1/2" deck and the 5/8" won't fit.
The 1/2" marine plywood works fine. I use glides to protect the decking. I get 4 years out of a deck.

You could always rabbit the sides to fit in the slots.

I was kind of thinking that too. Would make it easier when crossing the tie down channels loading and unloading from one side.

2x on the above. Just use a router. If you don't have one, Home Depot rents them with bits.
