trimming track clips for reverse case diamond drive

I had switched a track off a twinspar onto my crossfire but a few drive lugs had worn down and allowed some clips to gouge the case. I have another track to put on, but just want to double check that all I need to do is get the tabs on the DD side at least 1/4" below the top of the drive lug on that side to run it no issues.

I'm sure that's all. Extended my CF 1000 to 144 and found the track clips hitting. Second time was on a CFR extended to 136. This time I cut the clip flush with the bottom. All that is left is the part that contacts the hyfax. 1600 miles on track no problems.

Is the diamond drive bigger on the F series? the Clips shouldnt be anywhere near the diamond drive.

Nevermind, the F series has a narrower tunnel than the M. that would put the clips closer to the diamond drive.
