Transforming stock REV seat

Well I finally decided to go for it and I'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially since I didn't spend $400 to $500 on something similar.

Pictures are from my cell so they aren't very good, but you get the idea. I was going to raise the seat, but the main point of changing the seat was to make it easier to hop over when in the trees and climbing. Plus, I used the stock cover, so if i decide I want it higher I won't feel bad ripping off the cover and replacing it. The only cost I have into this project is 40 or so staples so far. I'm going to buy some plastic coat and spray the back half of the tank and the aluminum supports that run along the tank from the these guys dipyourcar.com. I hadn't heard of this till recently, but I'm also considering coating my tunnel as well with this stuff and seeing how it holds up. The only issue is I would like to change out my running boards first.

The other mod I got done was the steering column relocate. I heard about this but was afraid to dive into it as I thought it would be a lot more difficult than it was. You just pull the dash off, take out the bolts, push the column forward, put the longer bolt back in and drill out the hole for the front bolt. After doing this I'm really wishing it would snow so I can go test out the new mods!

oh, and BTW, i didnt notice any difference with the post forward. people made it sound like a night and day deal but i actually didnt notice it at all.

And with the post forward, if nothing else, I'm 6'3" and have to bend over a little with my boots on to keep my hands on the bars, but once I moved the post forward the bars were raised to a much more comfortable position. So if I don't nothice anything other than the comfort of the bars being higher I won't really care.

looks great! and yeah its free. good looking rev, it just needs some running boards.... as soon as i get the metal ill be working on a set for you.

Thanks man, I still need to either build a bigger oven or find someone local that can match the yellow pc stuff I've already done. Got to get the tank supports, the running boards I'll get from you and the rails done.
