Looking to get some new tires for my trailer.

Charmac Tri sport
235 80 16
6000lb axles

Anyone have opinions? Advice?

If that is not the oem size I am guessing you are increasing the sidewall height and it be less stable. How much less I don't know.

Also, if the oem is a 225 you are adding almost a half inch per trailer side in tire width. A wider tire doesn't go thru snow as well but it may regain some/all of the instability caused by the increased sidewall height.

That is a tall tire. Make sure you have fender clearance. If trying to run same tire/wheel on truck and trailer, I would if possible.

These are the stock tires from charmac.

They are pretty expensive and wondering what other people like. I am ok spending more money just don't want to over spend if I don't need too

A brand and style?
