Trailer time - what color?

Going to be purchasing a new 7x29 trailer in the next week. Dealership has 3 colors. Black, Pewter, and White. We have no interest in the white. Would you pick Black or Pewter? Black is beautiful.......when it's clean.

I'd go with Pewter, but just cause it'd match my silver pickup better (maybe, might clash too).

btw, good to see you around...thought you had died or something.

If you intend to use it in the summer for something else, that black one will be real HOT! My 2 red ones are almost the same...

Trailer

Mine's white YYYYAAAAAAWWWWWNNNNNNNN.

Fellow that lives down the street has one that's pewter/silver, really nice looking. His has brite diamond tread with black trim. Just about the nicest looking trailer I've ever seen. I would think it would match up to most truck colors except maybe silver. (sorry 7)

I agree that any summer use plans should preclude the black one, plus black vehicles look good for about as long as it takes you to drink 1 (that's one) after wash beer and admire it, then they are dingy looking again.

What kind of trailer is it?

And I second the welcome back. Bagger :beer;

Thanks guys. I'm thinking the pewter would look nice. Guy said the materials for putting the anodized aluminum down the side would run about $300. Brother and I were thinking about buying it at some point and putting it on ourselves. It's a basic trailer. Will have another $500 in it for sure with fuel doors, tie downs, and a stabilizer hitch before we head out, but it will work good for us. Aluminum rims would be nice. Wish it had LEDs.

went on a trip with some guys that had a black one a couple of years ago. i liked that it got warm enough sitting in the parking lot to melt the snow and ice that had fallen off the sleds from the previous day. let me know how it works. thats the size i was thinking of going to.

you gonna graduate one of these days?

Is that from "Specialty Trailer"?
I bought mine from Rick there.
Good place to deal with.

You may wann call Scott at Badger oil, he supports the sport here in SD very
well.

You won't need a stabilizer hitch unless you are towing with a little 1/2 ton.

Timmy, I'll graduate someday....as soon as I'm done a year from now. 4.5 haha.

Mafesto,
No, that's not a trailer at Specialty. If you added 1500-2000 to the price it might be.

Never heard of this Badger oil. I don't want the hitch for weight reasons, I want it for side to side whiplash reasons. I ain't going to drive 1,000 miles without one.

Yep

Hey Redneck,

Got any plans for the first week of Jan. We are going to laramie, and could use a couple more riders. We just bought a 38' gooseneck in silver and its going to have to grow on me, but it does seem like it will stay fairly clean.

Any snow up your way left? I need to break my new engine in, and a couple friends need to break in their new ski doos. Planning on doing that Sat. so all the bugs will be worked out for Laramie.

We're having a hell of a time getting anything lined up. We're supposed to be loading out cattle the first part of Jan. A couple of the guys we were going to go with have to go to OC California for a Monsanto meeting, and another one I thought would go now says he doesn't want to. How many of you is there going? Must be a bunch with that big of a trailer. 4 in a pickup is right.

We went to Laramie last year and a couple of the guys who came along said they are never going there again. 80 mph cross winds on 25 and then not being able to ride or leave town sucked.
