anywhere local I can go and purchase trailer ski glides/slides? I found a ton on line, but I am getting tired of ordering on-line and would rather just go picu up a couple of sets. Anyone know of a place with them on the shelf? Thanks in advance!

I love buying stuff online, it's usually cheaper and much faster than trying to track down a place that will probably have to order it anyway. I just ordered a tv that was $289 cheaper online than the black friday local price and they would have to order it as well.

I used a old plastic truck bedliner, cut it into 6" rips with skillsaw, a handfull of wood screws and it looks good and works great...the price was even better = 1 old sawblade and $1.00 worth of screws

Dont get me wrong, I get most my stuff on-line, I have just had one "issue" or another all summer/fall long with on-line purchases. Comical at best. I figured I would hunt around locally for a change.

as for the truck bed liners, can you do it with just one for a full size truck? I picture a 12 foot trailer with ramp would go 2 liners to get the job done?

thanks

I also went the plastic bed liner route. I found a liner from a long bed and it gave me enough to do the slides on my 14' trailer. I found another long bed liner and cut it into 15" wide sections with the grooves running cross ways and made track mats running down the center. Worked out well. One long bed liner should be enough to do a 12' trailer.

X3 on the bedliner. Craigs list $15.

I even used the front section that goes against the cab side of the bed as a Salt Shield........it says TOYOTA on it but....who cares...
