The deck on my sled deck needs to be repainted, what can I use other then bed liner that will give it some grip? Asphalt sealer? Roof tar? Mix sand in paint?
I did mine with Deck Restore, awesome stuff. It has sand built in, and using the applicator they provide with it gives some great traction. I'll try to get some pics up for you.
i used a oil base exterior deck paint from home depot. i added some sand and it looks great. i also chose to add a rubber mat from the local feed/tractor supply store for the track. i'll post a pic later
3-4 hands full per gallon and mixed it in. i put the mat on for a clean look and to keep some traction. i figured i'd just tear off most of the sand with the paddles after 10 loads or so. the sand should make for nice footing as well.
fwiw, this is a trailer i picked up over the summer and rebuilt. i haven't run it enough to get a feel for what works best. i did a lot of asking around before decking in and most folks suggested a similar setup for the money.
