Trailer Security

So besides physical security devices, ie. coupler locks, tire locks, etc. I'm looking for something a little more stealthy. Ultimately I'd like to install a hidden GPS tracking device. Anyone aware of something that's fairly economical, say less than $1000.

wiring a shock sensor/proximity sensor to a incredibly loud siren with a hidden switch for arming it could be done for a few hundred. You could also wire this to all of your trailing lighting and make it flash! One would just have to build a small hidden enclosure for the controls. I would doubt anyone would drive away with your enclosed while sirens/lights were going off.

A device inside wiring coupler which detonates when plugged in if not disabled prior.

This would blow the hands right off the damned thief making it hard for him to continue his pillaging lifestyle.

A camera to catch this would make for some entertaining footage as well.

Those systems are really great! And a lot more economical than I thought. I will have to look into it and make sure they support use in Canada first. The solar powered ones are the ticket!

And you don't end up in jail for hurting a poor defenseless criminal! But thats for another thread...
