My trailer is ready to be pciked up. It's a 28 x 8.5 (20' on the floor) United Super Hauler. The only drawback is it's steel. I just wanted to try a gooseneck. If I like it I'll probably get a Sundowner 38 x 8.5 (30 on the floor). Then I can get 4 sleds in with 6' extra for cabinets and whatnot. As it sits I can get 3 mountain sleds in this one with room to spare. Anyway, I am very happy with how it turned out. Everything I wanted tweaked by United they handled with no issues. Now to seal the floor, get my cabinets and Swisstrax installed, as well as my diesel heater and she'll be ready for action!

Nice looking trailer! Bio says Iowa City? if so who did you order this thru? I am up in Northwest Iowa and having problems with a few different dealers I have reached out to and them not getting quotes back to me. Thanks cant wait to see the finished pics

Ironically I'm 50 miles north of San Diego now. But I did order the trailer in Illinois. I used Bauman Trailer. Chad was great to work with and gave me a great deal. I highly recommend him.

Out of curiosity what is the dry weight on something like that?

Sharp looking trailer.

I need one of these. Roughly what’s that cost?

This one was $21k but has several upgrades. Primarily, insulation, power, .040 sheeting over .030, docking lights, loading light, interior lights. A standard model can be had for $17k

I like how wide that walk-in door is! I'm a big guy and can't fit through a normal one and pack anything through at the same time without trying to hold it out in front of me or behind me in some fashion.

what program or software was used in the last picture? That looks like it will be a pretty nice setup. I'm still planning my next custom trailer.

You wouldn't have an issue here. It's a 48" door. :)

I do my layouts with Adobe Fireworks. There are better options out there like some cad programs. But I already own it and just take downloaded top views, scale them, then add them to my work space. I can even use actual photos and overlay. Trailer Floor.jpgIMG_20201112_104111.jpgTrailer Floor.jpgIMG_20201112_104111.jpg

The upgrade in sheeting will be awesome if you ever get hail Storms where you are at.
Shouldn't get any hail here in SoCal but i like the smoother look of the .040 sides over the .030.

HA HA it hails here ... snows tornados been thru a few earthquakes even. had a hell of a hail storm this spring. Yep even seen snow on Santa Monica beach. Snow lasted till the sunrise.

Caron trailer would have been closer BUT SOCAL built trailers typically dont do well in cold weather lasting more than a day.
