trailer coating

Have a new enclosed 3 place and was wondering what is the best product to apply to the floor for protection. I know rino lining is good but not cheap at all Anyone have any luck with the DIY off the shelf brands of floor coatings? Or what about maybe the epoxy coating one might use for a garage floor you can pick up at like Home Depot?

Also what might I use for a vapor barrier on the walls and ceiling? I was going to apply a vapor barrier then either 1/4" plywood or White FRP panels.

Any input would be appreciated!

for the cheap cheap you can go to Rhino Liner and ask them for a stock bed liner out of a truck. They usually have a stack or two in the back of these. Cut them into strips and you have yourself some free ski guides that will protect the trailer floor.

Is it really necessary to put your question in EVERY section?

Sometimes its necessary to put them in different sections cause it helps get the word out to other parts of the website.

Been thinking about doing the same thing with the bedliners

This works great! They usually cut up the liners and throw them away. So over $10-$20 bucks for one and they will be happy.

or Junk yards sell them for $20 to $40 each.

But ... before I would coat the floor with an EPOXY RESIN.

None of that Home Depot crap. Get something like this or from somewhere else. I bought from these guys but don't know them except they take paypal.

Cut it with paint thinner to let it soack into the wook. Strong stuff.

Before it drys sprinkle sand on it to make in grip.

I bought 1.5 gallons cut it to 2 gallons and did a 20 x 8.5 trailer floor and undercarriage. Plus another 2 place open trailer and ramp. Plus sea kayaks and the kids small clubhouse.

Going on 3rd season with no rust / few scraps / holding strong.

they generally are just waiting to throw them away....so they should be glad enough to give them to you for free.
