Trail tool kit

Curious as to what is in your repair kit?

Im on a Husqvarna yeti combo.

Gonna take spare drive chain.
How cheap can i go on the master link press?

Looking for the balance of enough tools but without an extra 5 pounds of stuff.

Depends who you ride with and how far out. I personally keep most things at the truck. Worst case it's an hr to the truck and an hr back. Preparing for everything isn't possible. I carry. 10 12 13 14 15 wrenches. For my timbersled. Still awaiting my 2022 yeti kit. I carry a masterlink spark plug. Jump kit. But I leave spare chain. And press in the truck. Along with all other tools. I carry 1 coolant connector. Other than that it's just to much to prepare for.

Can you put on master link without a press?

I carry a spare belt, T handle with 7-14mm or something, jump pack, epoxy stick, silicone tape, folding metric & imperial hex keys, a folding saw, and a few different sizes of zip ties. It all fits in my tunnel bag mostly in the zip up container that the jump pack came with. It has been enough so far but if I lost a chain I'd have to piggyback out and back in with a fresh on the next day. Seems less likely to happen with maintenance and the belt, but it certainly could.

Same as most above but I also add a few common bolts, needle nose, knife. As far as my chain, I carry a clip style master link and chain breaker.
