Trail Tanks

Just got a picture of my new tank an thought i'd share it... its one of the new trail tanks from creation composites. holds over 15 gallons of fuel and bolts right into the stock location. had Jordan at Arctic FX wrap the tank to match my sled and it turned out awesome! anyone who's sick of carrying spare fuel and always having to stop to add it ( like myself) i'd definately recommend this product. They are also offering a wrap for the clear tanks that has a diagonal cut through it to flow with the lines and designs of the wrap with gallon markers to show you exactly how much fuel you have left.. will post a pic of this soon
here's a pic of mine, i'll post some up when i get it on the sled next week

Your feet gonna hit the running boards still? lol. Hows summer treating ya. I'll be making a bike trip down soon to check in with you guys. New tank looks awesome. Better look at a transfer pump for the rest of us. EW

Buy a Ski Doo and you don't need a trail tank:)

Because of being in the shop for recalls?
Looks good Kinzer, I just wonder how much it will affect the "feel" of the sled with that much more weight in different places than stock.

i always ran with 2 2.5 gallon cans full right behind the seat before so as far as the feel i dont think it will effect it much at all if any... should look and work better

I have never even come close to running through a full tank of gas before I couldn't hang onto the bars any more!!!! I must be doing something wrong ................................................. or right!!!:D

this site costs too much:lips:, open a thread, and BOOM!, another $300 is gone:face-icon-small-con

12.5 gal on a M will be sweat:beer;

11.4 stock on my 09 m, $300 for 1 more gallon. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
Also checked a 05 m that had a 12 gallon stock. So only .5 gallons added.

Now if it were going to the 15.5 gallons as on the RMK it would be worth it.

i could be wrong but i thought stock m tank is 10.4, atleast that is what mine is dead empty. and thats what ive always been told, have a trail tank coming my way, cant wait since i usually burn13-15 gallons a ride

I also thought the tank on my M was smaller until I looked it up on Arctic cats website. They say it is 11.4 gallons.
I just don't burn that much gas to make it worth it. I know there are others that it is worth it.

I'm not trying to start anything, just letting people know what I found when I looked into it.

Trouble maker!!!!:D
