Anyone have one on there 900? I have an 05, and was thinking about putting one on! Any pics or advise would be great thanks!

If they started making them for our sleds then that's news to me... though I would love to see it!
I need a new tank for mine! So i thought it would be a good upgrade!! I thought I seen one on here. U might need to put new plastic on by the gas tank to make it work??

On my cell now...but it can be done but depends on how much you wanna get into it...newer console so it lines up better..new seat of dragon or pro...dragon fuel pump..some mods to your sled to mount it...
But I can't give away any more details until I have it done first

How much different the consoles. Could i trim mine to make it work? Why don't we make them make a tank for the 900!!! Lol. Why can't i use my pump? Is it not the right size hole? it would be nice to have, but i don't wont to spend to much on it!
the console is from the newer IQ..07/08 i believe..you can see it in my 05 900 build, its a very nice console, and has built in vents and if you have the rider select removed and have a fixed steering post, its perfect and doesnt have that gapping hole..
the console is around $65 from your dealer...
you wont be able to trim your current console cause it doesnt have the contours in it to fit the trail tank..you can use it still yes...just doesnt wrap around it and close any gaps..
they wont make them for the 900 cause there is alot of work involved in doing the mold alone...if you use the current one, the pump is on the TOP of the tank (for the dragons) and you would have to cut a hole in the front of the tank, get it to seal perfectly around the 05 900 pump then plug the hole where the original location of the pump is on top..
then if you mounted the pump in the front, its actually lower (contour of the tank) and the fuel lines would hit the ECU, so you would have to relocate your ecu as well..
you also have to find a way to hold the PTO side of the tank down, the dragons have metal tabs on teh steering hoop, the 900 doesnt, so you have weld them on, or make something that pushes down on the tank.
this is all explained in my 05 900 build with pics..
the 05 900 can use the 08-up 600/700/800 cfi fuel pump with no issues, same setup just looks different, the 06 CANNOT use the pump, must use 06 pump only.

lol, its worth it man, nice custom work, but not something you wanna do mid season trust me.
maybe a summer project when you get more time.
