They are a real national treasure.
Yep ... as a tree lover I am glad I did not have my Chainsaw with me.
How many cords are they?
But alas it takes a few thousand years for them to become that big so I better leave it alone so the next rider can enjoy. Plus the jail system does not have wood burnin stoves.
If only the forest service would auction off a sick/dead one so I can help with my ported Husky.
But you gotta ask ... if one of those trees fell in the forest ... would anyone hear it?
great pics don. yep, we grow the trees pretty big in cali. the sequoias are awesome. i took phatty and ryan nelson up to a secret grove of them last summer where we ride and they couldn't believe trees get that big.
