Trail markers on RE

hell last year the weekend after they took the trail markers down was when it dumped another 6' and extended the season by 2 more months. We can hope, right?

i was up there in may a couple of years ago after they took the markers down. you would have thought it was mid jan, horizontal snow, bliz condit...i tried to get up to buff but turned around half way because i was puckered up so bad. by myself of course and very worried about not being able to find tracks and limp home.

pretty funny. try it sometime. what a dumb a$$

We never use trail markers, but I was asked to share the info. Slight chance of snow today and then Sunday. Nothing significant, but the base is destroyed.

Was driving up the driveway tonight noticing that what was a solid 4 feet + in the trees is almost gone and there is ground starting to show. I had no idea that my last ride 3 weeks ago was going to be it. It really is over isn't it. Wow!

Heaven forbid you say something...... Im actually LANDSCAPING in Breck this weekend.... ALREADY.... Ground has no frost in it either. Oh well, i logged some miles on the mtn bike!

Yeah, I called them and bailed. They asked why. I told them, "NO DAMN SNOW. How am I supposed to test a sled to see how it performs, on crappy snow?"

Funny thing is I can see the bare spots up on the Ears from Hwy 9 on my way home from work.

according to snotel history at the RE site, this years april 1 snow water equivalent number will be the lowest in 60 years since they have been keeping track (1951)

1977 was close to the same on april 1
