Track Tension ??

What is the length??

Is this sled a renegade or a 121"?? If its a short track, I'd say the tension is OK. If it is a 136, I'd say loosen the tensioning bolts about 4 - 6 turns each, as long as you maintain the alignment. How the hyfaxes look?

On my 151" on the summit, I first make sure the track and hifax's are clean then I lift the sled and adjust the track until it rotates (Very slowly) on it's own with the sled running at idle with the secondary adjusted to "show" about 1/8" above the sheaves.
It's pretty loose that way but with extroverts I have never ratcheted the track.
The looser you get it without ratcheting, the better. Less resistance.

It's a Renegade 136" 600. The hyfaxes look fine. Thanks Stef

MY Summit is fine then. Thanks AR

My .02

I think the factory spec is 1 5/8 inches measured at the midpoint of the rails to the track while pulling down on the track with a force of 15# which works out to about 3/4 " of hanging slack on a 121" track, a 136" will naturally hang a little more adjusted to the same tension. On my renegade I figure 3/4" to 7/8" which is about the thickness of the first knuckle on my pointer finger, LOL.

run it till it ratchets, then tighten it up a little,

seriously, your probably fine if your running low snow, if you wanna rock some pow, take it out a little more.
