Track Tension?

Is there a good test for proper track tension? Obviously if it's ratcheting it's too loose and if the hf's are wearing down at the front it's too tight. Thoughts?

Usually measure about 15-16" ahead of Rear Idlers put about 10lbs of weight on track and measure drop about 1/2-3/4" works.Triple check alighnment of side to side Tighten it all up. have removed all bogies added big wheel kit hyfax wear is finally getting low at 1500 miles......scratchers !!!!!
