Track Swap!!

So I've been talking to Tracks USA and got some info from them (they r very helpful I might add) - I have a 2012 SB Assault - was wondering if anyone has tried the Powder Max 151" x 16" x 2.3" track (trimmed to 15") with the rail extensions on this sled. Seems it's a 2.52" pitch as is the SB so it should be a direct swap?? Correct?? Any feedback on this setup or track? Had a CE2.5 on my 144" RMK loved the track but don't want to get into cutting rails, new drivers etc!!

Appreciate any input!

IMO...Do not cut a track... YES it has been done, and often

But...

You void the warranty from Camoplast when you do it.

Also, Aren't the middle involute drive nubs on the Ski Doo Tracks issing as they only use combo (extro) drivers and not the ones spaced on the inside like the polaris?

Go with a Rail swap (sell your old ones to take most of the "sting" out of the cost) and get a 15" wide track to work in there...

Much cleaner install and in the end.. probably the same cost.

Limited to Stock Drivers (as you've said) ... What about the Series 4 151 x 15 x 2.4/ 2.52 Pitch track... One of the best that Polaris has made.

I would upgrade to a 155 Assault instead of spending the time and money extending a sled, you should be able to do it for the same cost or less. Just another option.

x2, rail extensions are the only thing required to run this track. wish i would have picked up the new 1 at haydays i found for $400 in the swap area...

Ok - like that ideal even better - never thought about that track - lol - so either just the rail extensions or buy new rails - and this track will work perfect with this sled am I correct in saying that??

Where's the best place to get this track???
