Track Repair

Hey!
I had a mishap with a tree branch, and need to do a repair.

Appreciate any input or suggestion with positive or negative experiences.

Ordered some cold bond cement (Fusion Systems ECRF) and plan to stitch the cut and add a patch to the outside of track. Will just add a little cement to the inside to keep the rubber from separating further...thoughts?

Who did you order the cold bond cement from? Did it ship in the mail or FedEx? I have a track I think I can salvage but am hunting for a really good rubber cement. The conveyor belt products seem to fit the bill and I happen to have some conveyor belt material for a backer laying around!

I had a “professional” track repair service repair my track. Then it ripped in the same place on my first ride. Repair guy claimed it was due to too much horsepower going to track! (800 triple). So I’m not sure how well this will hold up for you unless ur running a lower hp sled

I ordered that product from Almex Group and it shipped in the mail.
The stuff works great, and my crew have used it several times for repair. The track I repaired lasted that season with no issues.
