track question for my 07 rev

when did ski doo switch to 2.86 pitch? is my 07 2.52. or 2.86? can i run 2.5 inch track without doing a drop and roll? thanks!

08 was the switch to 2.86p. You have 2.52p. You can run the 2.5 if you switch to 7t 3"pitch drivers. They make the 2.5 in 2.86p also. Im not sure if the track will clear in a 07 with 8t 2.86p drivers. The 2.86p drivers are cheaper from skidoo than buying avid 3"p.

I'm running the 2.86 pitch drivers with the Extreme 2.86 pitch track on my 05 and it clears just fine.
TracksUSA is the only place that I found that still has the 2.86 drivers otherwise you have to buy the whole jackshaft assembly.
Wahls has 2.86 drivers now too though but they're spendier then doo's.

07 MXZX 440 was a 2.86 pitch. It was the first skidoo to be 2.86 pitch.

I have the 7t drivers with the 3" pitch 2.5 - works awesome. Gearing is 19/43.
