I have not tried any of these, but from my experience, and the riding I do, I have found that straight solid paddles work best for me as compared to those similar to the ripsaw or the cross over. For me, I think I would like the back country the best out of the two you mentioned.
 
thx, yeah it feels like the paddle design would move more snow. I ride a Yamaha Venture Lite MP with a 144x16x1.25" at work and am not impressed at all, nice ride and all but as soon as you get out in the snow it's standing on the ground. If it weren't for the nice 4-stroke engine and the comfy ride I would like my old Polaris Widetrak back:) Also this is one heavy pig, actually it feels heavier both in fron and back than the Widetrak, sooo what's with the Lite thing
