Track or rail tip problems

Has anyone had any problems with there 09 Polaris sleds with the track or the rail tips coming off and catching the track. Thats what happend on my 09 Dragon. It cought and riped my track half into. I am waiting to see if Polaris will replace the track under the warranty. I had less than 100 miles on this sled. It SUCKS.

Loose Track?

That generally happens when guys are running an extremely loose track and/or when you hit a stump just right and push a track window over the rail end piece tearing your track. Happened to a couple of people who were purposely running a loose track, last year, for better powder, I guess, and one hit a stump in the powder, another hit a stump on a wind blown ridge, both needed new tracks. Good luck getting it warranted, scary if it was a freak thing?

Thank God for warranty's

I talked to Debbie at Premier Polaris and she said Polaris would take care of the repairs. They came to the conclusion that the cap rail most likly wasent tightend properly from the factory and it worked loose and fell off. I have never adjusted the track at all yet. It still set at factory settings and with less than a 100 miles it should have been fine. I hope to get my sled back soon.:)
