Track Nubs

Alright. So when i was replacing the bearings on my driveshaft i noticed that the track nubs had little notches in them. Every one of them has it, almost like the drivers were doing it but i inspected them and there no sharp edges that could have done it. I also checked all of the wheels and anything that comes close to it but none of it seems to make sense. Has anyone seen this before? Should i invest in a new track, i mean i rode the rest of the season because I'm cheap and didn't seem to have an issue with it but its something i would like to get solved.

ANY help would be appreciated.

Depending on what sled you have. It could be the drivers slipping on the nubs of the track. I have a 09 D8 and mine slipped every once in awhile and i noticed a couple of my nubs notched off a little bit. I solved it by going with avid drivers

I have an 07 D7. Yeah, I was thinking it might have been that but its weird because EVERY nub is like this. With the Avid drivers they only use the windows right? The nubs, having a cut in them, won't affect the drivers? Should i look into getting a set of those?

The Avid drivers use the windows and nubs. They are extroverted drivers. It shouldnt affect those drivers having the nubs cut a little. I dont have it on every nub just couple here n there throughout the track
