I am helping a bud change the track on his 08 rmk 155" track and it seams to be binding or getting stuck up front in the tunnel.The new track is a camo extreme 155x15x2.5 and thought to be a dirrect replacement.Is there a driver change needed from stock or are we just going about it wrong?We have checked all the skid parts,rails ,drivers seated in track,spedo side in place,chain and gears spin with no bind but it turns about three times and seams to bind at this point.

That is the same size track as stock, so that should be ok. There is different pitched tracks that have to match the drivers, so Id make sure that is the same. So, do you have your skid all mounted and your track tensioned? Some times you will get your track bunched but in the front if you dont have the slack out. Make sure that you suspension is not compressed to. That will take some slack out of the track

you have to take out the front heat exchanger for it to clear. Buy a kit from holtz. that track has little bigger lug. it clears on 163 but not 155.
 
I can't seem to find it now either. Its called a front cooler delete kit. I would call holtz and ask them. If they cant help you call fastrak motorsports they make one too.

you sure the track fits stock 2.86 drivers? i just put a 162 camo extreme on and had to put 3.0 drivers on it
 
Typically the 155's and 163's will be 2.86 since they are a Polaris direct fit. Same reason the 153's & 162's(?) are 3.0 as they replace Artic Cat tracks.

just go down to your polaris dealer and order the front cooler bloack off from a 2010 dragon. i removed the front cooler from my rmk and changed out the bottle as well as the thermostat. cost me around $50.00.

Did you do this so you could run the camo extreme 2.5? Can you give more details on how you removed the cooler? I assumed you got the head plug for your head, the new overflow bottle, and thermostat. Did you remove the cooler and put something in it's place? You don't have a part number do you?
