Track for '03 MC 570 fan???

My son has an '03 MC 570 Fan and he's ready for a bigger track...what's the longest we can go without a tunnel extension. I figure a 141 for sure, but will a 144 fit? Any clutching suggestions to help out? This might be the last year on this sled so I want to keep it cheap. Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I have put a 141 and a 144 on sleds with 136 tunnels. Going to a longer track and from 1.25" lugs to 2" you will also need to gear the sled down and reclutch. Also, the track will want to suck the snow flap under the tunnel. I have put a webbed strap on mine that is on the 01 440 SnoPros. It holds the flap away from the track. The P/N is 1606 712 from Arctic Cat. Good Luck!

PS U may be better off just going to a 136 X 2 for one year and then upgrading to a bigger sled.

I have installed a 144x2 under an 03 570. They came with 2.52x10t drivers, you can keep the same gears. I think it runs an 18x44 gearset, you can't gear down much further than that, won't fit the case. Just change out the drivers to a 2.52x9t that will gear you down around 10-12% which was just perfect. I used anti-ratchet drivers and ran the track real loose. No clutching changes or engine mods needed, it will work just fine. The other mods you will need is drop brackets for the rear suspension HRP or sledjunky will work. All M1 chassis have the same problem with slide position. Go to a reverse flap or just cut the existing one.
The sled really worked good in the deep with someone up to about 120lbs.
I think I still have an M1 drive shaft with anti-ratchet drivers 2.52x9's on it, ready to go, that I no longer need, if you want it PM me, I will sell it. Also have a set of HRP drop brackets to.

I may have a 141 X 2 later on in the summer or fall to sell. It's in great shape, I dont believe it has any damage. Just need to decide if we r selling the sled or keeping it to put 151 on it.

Put a 141x2.25 on my brother's sled a few winters ago. Works absolutely awesome! Its a 440 Fan with similar HP to the 570. Colton is right around 100lbs and that thing is a blast to ride!
