Track/Driver Question

I put a 2.25" Camo Extreme track on my 09 MTX last year. This is a cat takeoff. I have noticed that there is quite a bit of wear on my Avid drivers since I put this track on. It appears it is hitting on the clips where they come up the sides onto the rubber nub. That is the only place I am seeing wear. There were no problems with the stock Maverick track with those drivers and they appear to be clipped the same way. Any ideas?

I just pulled that same track off a nytro and noticed a lot of wear on the inside edge of the hifax from the clips. those clips are on there backwards when compared to a normal track. the flanged portion of the clip is facing inward. perhaps the spacing is different or something. i am puzzled by this too.

Why fight it???

Come on guys, need some help!!!!

Continually seeing posts how everyone fights cat tracks on yammies! My advice......DON'T DO IT!!!!!! I mean really guys our sleds start at 10Gs, why do we think a $200.00 track that a cat rider didn't want is worthy of our sleds?

I know times are tough and money is tight. I know that the maverick has short comings. A new ascent or camo extreme will set you back $850.00 to $1,100.00, but your sled is worth it especially if it's boosted. You would'nt put $300.00 yard sale tires on your $38,000.00 duramax.... would ya????

Not trying to start anything,JMO.
