Track & Driver Question

Hey I've finally decided I'm going to order a PowerClaw for my 2003 1M. I currently having 2.52 pitch, 10 tooth, 8" drivers. How many tooth should I get for the new drivers? 8?

I'm looking at the Wahl Bros drivers from SLP.

Yes 8 which is as close as you are going to get as stock! 9 tooth is too large.

If 8 tooth is a shade smaller should I adjust my gearing on my bottom sprocket?

8T 3" pitch sprockets aren't that much different diameter than 10T 2.52" pitch. Shouldn't require a gear change.

I figured out that its a 7% gear down. Sled originally had the 19/43 gearing but I think it could definitely use a little more....I think this will be a good change.

I would agree with Idcatman, I have already done the change with 8t driver from AC. what a great difference in track speed the big twin whips that track like its a shorty!
