Track Change ?'s

So changing the track on my M1000 was no big deal, what kind of nightmare am I going to run into with this M1100T? Any tips or things to watch for when taking this project on?

Re: track change

I've just installed a 3" x 162" on my 2013 M1100. Buy a good set of snap ring pliers, and installing 7 tooth drivers will make your life easier. The 3" will clear with the stock drivers (I used a bit of silicone spray on the track so the drivers would slide easier when installing. Nice if you have a friend to help, too (although mine seem to disappear when I could use a hand lol). I chose not to drop driver size as the sled is getting a C3 syncrodrive with a lower ratio. Plan to spend at least double the time that it takes to install a track on an M-series, and then add one hour. Worst part is dealing with the reverse chaincase, take pics or label everything for reassembly.

2.6

Going with the 2.6 so drivers are not in the plan. Thanks sounds like a time consuming project.

WTF?

Out in Island Park, you were lecturing me about just leaving the sled alone and riding it......

You always have something up your sleeve..........:face-icon-small-dis

If your in I can get a better deal on two tracks?

Nope, not gonna do it........

I am thinking with the snow we have had for the last few years, I might pout on a 121" to make it more challenging and fun.......
