Track aproach angle

I read in some older posts that there was some way to relocate the front suspension pivit on the assualts to give them a better aproach angle. Has anyone does this or heard of this? Any info regarding this would be great casue i would like to give it a try.

does relocating the skid have any affects on how the geometry of the skid functions? like make it stiffer or softer relative to the way the suspension was setup using the lower holes? I assume moving it to the upper holes gives it a softer attack angle but adds ski pressure and adds preload to the rear shock/springs...? anyone?
