I am going through my clutches on my summit and I noticed that it has 281 ramps installed. I looked on the net and found out that an 01 summit should have 300 ramps installed. The sled has an mxz clutch on it currently. I was told once that the mxz clutch was lighter. Could that be the reason for the 281's or maybe the guy I bought it from was too lazy to change out for 300's?
I also found a oem parts site, and they say that the 300's are obsolete. Does anyone know of an alternative that can be used? I don't know a whole lot about clutches, but I want to make things right if there all jacked up.
The current setup that I have is:
Primary: 281 ramps, purple/yellow spring, adj. pins
Secondary: 50/47 helix, white spring
Thanks
