I've been using silicon glue to hold the slider buttons in place in the outer primary cap. This has made things way easier. Anybody else? or reasons why I shouldn't be dooing this? It actually started by using a tiny drop of crazyglue on the o-rings to stop them from falling off during reassembly. This worked so well that I took it to the next step. Just be sure to put the clutch together while the silicon is still wet so the buttons will rotate to their natural position before the silicon sets up.:D

I would not glue them in they are suppose to be able to move/float. I use a tiny, tiny spec of grease on the back of them. Makes them stick just enough that they don't fall out while assembling. but they are still free.

Poor Idea...The buttons are designed to be able to float as the primary opens and closes.

OT

You talkin about RTV silicone? Gasket maker stuff. That wouldnt hold the buttons so tight that they wouldnt move. It's nice and flexible

Damn OT, I hear your mommy callin you to go home

Yep, that why I just use a small small bit of grease to hold them while assembling.
