TRA bolt hitting inside panel

Has anyone figured out a fix for the TRA bolt hitting the inside panel? I thought of putting some type of wear plate or ball roller but how to fasten it with out wrecking the panel. I like laying the sled over but sooner or later its coming through. I filed the head of the bolt so its smooth, but it only helped a little. Even the dampener rubs.

Just glue some thin sheet metal on the inside of the panel. What worked for me was a piece of thin stainless with 3m sticky back, this is the stuff used on truck rocker panels and is chrome finished. Cuts good with a good pair of scissors.

I don't have any vents there. The stainless is not a bad idea. Got some of that stuff too and 3m chit might stay there for a while.

I just glued a piece of leftover side panel (from the vent kit I installed) right where the bolt rubs. I will replace the piece in time as it wears through to the actual side panel

Sorry boys mine is an 08 xp with the plastic guard still on the clutch cover. ( just drilled 1 " holes in it ) I was thinking of teflon but its hard to glue to anything. ( got a small lathe )
