TRA? - 08 Drive on an 03 Renegade

I've got an 03 Renegade 800 (ZX Chassis) with a brand new 08 800R drive clutch assembly. Thought I could change out the spring and ramps and be good to go. Found out that the ramps (spring pins) are 10mm on the 08 and 8mm on the 03 ramps. Maybe there's more to it.....

Is this a problem or can I live with the smaller ramp pins? Anything else I should consider?

Thanks!

Your 03 gade prolly come with the TRA2 and 1-3/8 belt width.
The 08 primary will be set for 1.5" wide belt.

What ramps are on the 08 primary clutch?
You would be able to use the 413 or 414 or 415 not a problem.

The deal there is that you will have to take the secondary and open it up and inside you'll see one shim as it is setup for 1-3/8 wide belt. Buy the 2nd shim and install it and now you'll be setup for the new 08 primary at 1.5 belt width.

You will also be running the latest 377 drive belt from an 09~newer xp summit.

You can calibrate the sled with the 08 primary with the same primary spring/flyweight combination that a 2003 summit Rev would have however would not matter what of the 3 ramps mentioned above.

The TRA is running a 1 3/8" belt.
Seems like it came off a 08 MXZ 500SS. Did my homework and cross referenced the ramps and spring combo.
The 08 primary has 412 ramps with a purple/purple spring. Will the 412's work? Will that spring work?
It's a ZX chassis. Will I be able to run the 1.5" belt at the correct length (377)?
Thanks for your help.
