Toy Insurance

What insurance do you guys keep on your toys? I would think that most carry fire & theft if nothing else. What expeiriences have you had filing a claim on one of your toys?? Did your premiums go through the roof?

I need to up my coverage and just wanted get a feel for what works for the SnoWesters.

Not sure about dirt toys, but I use Foremost for my sleds. I've had 2 claims in 7 years. First was a 3K fix, second (last season) was a total. They were almost too easy to work with. They never even sent an estimater to look. Sent them a bid from dealer and a couple pics and cashed the check. Bad news is that I have a new sled coming and I've spent the money on Motorcycles. OOOOPS

I'm with state farm for homeowners/vehicle/sled insurance. Get a discount when you've got more than one policy with them. Sled insurance is cheap, $200-ish/year. $1k deductible and also covers liability & medical. Never had a claim with them yet....

I have been with american family since i was 16 and have never had problems full coverage on sled with 500 ded. for 218 a year a piece. It did go up 30 a month when i decided to bring home a diesel truck though. oh well. full coverage on toys is well worth it.

I have a 07 M8 and im with state farm. $250 a yr w/ 500 deduct. Pretty cheap for a 21 yr old.

I am with liberty mutal my sled is with my homeowners/auto and I pay 132 a year with a 200 dollar deductable.

I had a claim in january for total and it was pretty easy to deal with. adjuster came out and the whole works. It took about a month to get my check after the initial incident. Not bad at all....
