Towing?

Towed out 3 M's this year with the King Cat, no problems yet.

Hook them up right, take it a little easier, watch your temps and there shouldn't be any problems

last year we were towing out a sled and came up on another group towing a sled

They coudn't believe how fast we were tearing down the trail. I looked and they hadn't pulled the belt of the sled they were towing DOH!

Does towing another sled and rider damage your seld?

Do it right and it's not to bad. Easiest way I have seen is towing the dead sled right up against the other sled so there is no slack and then have the rider ride with someone else, but not on the dead sled. Just too much weight hanging off way back there.

Done it like this a few times and it works pretty good but it does cause some heat on the ol drive belt.

Matty was going real good until he hit the hardpack ice road, then he could not turn. That seemed like the easiest and best solution to get that puddy cat back to its trailer:D

Wow

Now THAT is quite a sight!:eek::D

Good ingenuity there guys:beer;

When I broke my sled, we simply used a 15 foot tow strap bumper to bumper, and I took off my belt. We went pretty slow (about 10 mph average) and kept an eye on his temperature, throwing snow on the running boards when it heated up, worked GREAT! Towed out 10 miles that way, luckily we didn't have to go up any hills to make it back.

Thank goodness he was riding "THE TANK" ;):D:beer;
